Hiba Al-Madie (Artistic Name: Hiba Sadoon) is an Iraqi visual artist based in Sweden. She graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 2007, earning a Higher Diploma in Fine Arts with a specialization in Visual Arts. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on oil and acrylic painting, while also exploring ceramics through exhibitions and artistic projects. Drawing inspiration from memory, identity, heritage, and human experience, her work often combines symbolic and expressive elements that reflect both personal and collective narratives. She is a member of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate in Baghdad, the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Stockholm, and Husby Konsthall Art and Crafts Association, Sweden. Throughout her artistic career, Hiba has participated in numerous exhibitions, cultural events, and artistic activities in both Iraq and Sweden.
