Marta Fergó was born in Barcelona in 1971. A severe spinal condition and multiple surgeries forced a profound life shift. Amidst long recovery, she found art as her greatest refuge and healing. This transformative experience became the core of her work—a testimony of resilience and turning suffering into beauty. Shaped by Barcelona's light, she currently resides in Doha, Qatar. For Marta, every artwork is poetry. Her work features an intuitive explosion of color, texture, and emotion, using acrylic, gesso, and resin. Her art is a dialogue between the organic and digital, creating luminous landscapes that invite immersion. She lets pigments flow and oxidize, trusting the process. Each layer is a verse, each texture a feeling, and each piece an act of presence. Her works are states of the soul and visible silences; painting is total surrender.
