Mirka Bertozzi is an Italo-Mexican artist born in Mexico City, with more than three decades of creative experience and over twenty years of professional practice. Her work explores the female figure, identity, nature, memory, and emotion through oil, acrylic, and mixed media, using color, texture, and relief as expressive elements. Inspired by the Renaissance, Baroque, Impressionism, Surrealism, and contemporary visual culture, she has developed a distinctive language where reality, symbolism, and abstraction coexist. Founder of Galería Bertozzi, she defines her philosophy as “Art from the Heart,” viewing painting as a means of human connection and cultural dialogue. She has participated in exhibitions and projects in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Türkiye, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, building an international career focused on creating bridges between cultures through art. Her art celebrates diversity, beauty, identity and the universal power of connection.
