Artist Biography – Mohsen Al-Anbari Mohsen Al-Anbari, born in Iraq in 1969, is an Iraqi visual artist with an extended artistic career and diverse experience in painting and visual expression. His artistic practice explores color, form, texture, composition, and human emotion, moving between abstract, expressive, figurative, and contemporary approaches. During the 1990s, Al-Anbari worked in the Art Department of Al-Jumhuriya newspaper, an experience that contributed significantly to his professional development and strengthened his connection with Iraq’s cultural and visual arts scene. Throughout his career, he has participated in various art exhibitions and cultural events. Among his documented participations is a fine art exhibition organized by the Rawafid Gathering at Al-Qishla in Baghdad. Al-Anbari’s works demonstrate a continuous search for a distinctive visual language, characterized by expressive use of color, dynamic compositions, layered textures.
