Artist profile
For Regina G. Ayala, art has been a language since childhood. Her practice has evolved through experimentation, mentorship from visual artist Rosy Ayala, and workshops with various artists. Currently studying Industrial Design, she explores new relationships between form, materials, and contemporary expression. She has participated in 25 group exhibitions and received three honorable mentions. Her work has appeared at Casa Purcell, the Rubén Herrera Museum, the Carlos Monsiváis Bookstore, and the Museum of the Revolution. As an emerging Mexican visual artist, she moves between figuration, pop art, comic aesthetics, abstraction, and sculpture. Inspired by contemporary visual culture and her surroundings, she experiments with materials and artistic languages to develop a personal voice. Her creative drive lies in freedom of expression, curiosity, and the search for new ways to interpret the world.
