Artist profile
My journey as an artist did not begin in galleries it began in the quiet, often overwhelming spaces of motherhood. As a stay-at-home mother to a neurodivergent child, I found painting not as a career, but as a necessity—a way to process, to breathe, and to rediscover myself. I am a self-taught artist, and each of my works carries lived experience—stories of solitude, resilience, silent battles, and quiet triumphs. I am drawn to the emotional depth of the human condition, particularly the strength and vulnerability of women, expressed through the richness of oil paint. Even in the early stages of my journey, I was able to sell a piece to a prominent figure in Qatar—an unexpected yet powerful affirmation that my work could resonate beyond my personal world. Being named one of the 100 Emerging Artists by ArtstoHearts Project further strengthened this path. My experience at QIAF, where I connected with cultural leaders and wider audiences, deepened my belief in art as a universal language
