Sofya Tikhonova

Artist profile

I write in the style of Abstract expressionism. In my paintings, you can see a deep interpretation of texture and forms through static or dynamic images of human figures. There are series of paintings devoid of objective images; in such works, I explore the theme of feelings towards textures and their multifaceted combination in light and brushstrokes.
