Tasneem is a Qatar-based emerging artist and educator specializing in Arabic calligraphy, with a focus on the expressive Diwani script. With nearly nine years of experience working with young learners, her journey blends education and art, using calligraphy as a tool for emotional expression and confidence-building. Her work explores themes of identity, silence, and inner voice, transforming words into visual narratives through fluid composition and movement. Rather than traditional replication, she approaches calligraphy as a contemporary expressive practice. At the Qatar International Art Festival, she presents “ECHOS: Expressing Silenced Voices through Arabic Script,” an interactive workshop encouraging participants to translate emotions into calligraphic form. Tasneem is also developing Hub Al-Qalam (The Love of Pen) to promote calligraphy tools and artistic talent.
