VIRGINIA VIGO Argentine Visual Artist | Patagonia Virginia Vigo is an Argentine visual artist born in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Buenos Aires. Her artistic journey began in childhood through dance, music, and traditional crafts, experiences that shaped her sensitivity and creative vision. At the age of 40, she began her professional career in painting, studying under her artistic mentor, Pamela Pie de Casas, and specializing in oil painting. She later continued her academic training at Conservatorio Grassi in Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut, where she obtained her qualification as a Decorative Painting Teacher. Currently based in Camarones, Patagonia, Virginia works as an Art Teacher within the Municipality’s Cultural Department. Her artistic practice reflects a continuous exploration of color, technique, expression, and the relationship between art, nature, and the Patagonian territory.
