Zahraa Habib Ghadhanfari

Artist profile

A Kuwaiti self-taught artist captivated by detail from an early age, she discovered her affinity for black after observing how shadow transformed her drawings. Working primarily in ink, her practice constructs form through layered line density rather than tonal washes. Hatching reflects her personality—swift, deliberate lines carefully placed. Emphasizing discipline and restraint, her work investigates light and shadow, privileging stillness over gesture and precision over excess.
