About the Festival
Qatar International Art festival is the largest annual International Art Festival in Qatar by MAPS International WLL, a Qatari Company registered under the law of the State of Qatar.
QIAF is organized by a Team of experienced professionally qualified management people headed by Rashmi Agarwal, an internationally renowned artist, entrepreneur, and President of MAPS International WLL.
Yes, the festival was earlier organized in the years 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. This year 2023 will be the 5th edition for the Qatar International Art festival.
The festival will be organized in the month of October/November 2023

Final Dates of the festival will be announced in the month of April 2023
QIAF 2023 will be organised at a prominent location in Doha, Qatar. The festival venue will be announced in the month of April 2023.

Yes, you can register as a group. However, each participant needs to fill in the registration form. If you are in a group of 10+ artists, please contact the organizers at firstname.lastname@example.org for the additional privileges and support.
QIAF welcomes the participation of Art Galleries. Art Galleries can register using the link www.qiaf.net/apply-gallery
Yes. We encourage you to travel with your family and enjoy the exotic tourist locations of Qatar. Let this trip be your fun filled family trip.
The Extra cost for Guest is detailed in the cost for participation question below. Children below the age of 6 years are free if they are using the same bed with their parents.
The family of the participants travelling together will be entitled to all services like the participants except for exhibition space and awards.
Each member of the family needs to fill in the separate QIAF Forms.

The artwork can be

Your application will be screened, reviewed and you will be provided with the Qatar National Bank account details for payment of the participation fee along with the email of confirmation. After the payment of your participation fee your registration is confirmed.
The Last date for registration and payment is 10th August 2023.
Limited Entries and subject to first cum first serve basis.
We encourage the participants to make the payment at their earliest once their application has been approved via confirmation email. The last date for completion of payment is 10th August 2023.
All participation fees need to be paid to our Qatar National bank account. The bank account details will be sent to everyone via email along with the email confirmation.
For any inconvenience regarding the transfer of money to the bank account, please write an email us for alternative mode of payment with reason.
We do not encourage instalment payment or on arrival payment. However we do not want to deprive the genuine or deserving participants from participating in the festival for financial constraints.
Hence if you think you deserve or really need to make the instalment payments, please send your request to the organizers at email@example.com . We will review the same. However the decision is solely at the discretion of the organizers and will be reviewed on merit by merit basis.
If the participant is not able to travel due to a valid medical Covid-19 related reasons or due to any national Travel related restrictions, we have a 100% refund policy of the participation money received less bank charges.
The cancellation policy for the participation fee received is as follows. The fee will be refunded with 4 weeks of the cancellation.
Cancellations made before 30th June 2023 – 100% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made before 31st July 2023 – 75% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made before 31st August 2023 – 50% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made after 1st September 2023 – No refunds.
Yes. Your participation is confirmed after payment of the registration fee.

3.b For the Outstation Artist with Hotel
Accommodation on Single occupancy basis – USD 1500
4. For Participation in the Exhibition only
– No personal Presence – USD 300
5. For the Guest of Outstation Artist with Hotel
Accommodation on double occupancy basis – USD 1100
6. For extra Linear Meter of exhibition Space – USD 250 per Meter
7. For Art Galleries – USD 350 per SQM
8. Hotel accommodation for Representatives from
Art Galleries double / Single occupancy – USD 1000 / 1300 PP

This information will be used for printing festival magazine printing and Social Media Advertisement.
The artwork to be displayed needs to be pre-approved by the organizers. It should not be inspired nor depict any political, religious, or obscene picture. It should in any way not hinder the cultural ethics of the Qatar and region.
Also, the use of FIFA world cup logo and / or any collaterals with 3rd party copy right will not be permitted to be exhibited.
The organizers reserve the right to remove and/or request the participant to replace any artwork not found suitable for the exhibition at any time before, during or after the exhibition.

It is the responsibility of the artist to hand over the ready for display painting to the organizers.
The organizers can recommend a list of framing shops in Doha for stretching and framing.
For artworks received in advance before 31st August, the organizers can arrange to get the same framed at cost chargeable to the participant.
8 Master classes for 25 minutes each will be organized during the festival days. The master artist will be from the participants only.
The decision to select the master class will be solely made by the QIAF Art Curators based on the Theme, uniqueness, Experience, Technical knowhow and Knowledge enhancement to the participants. The participants willing to give master classes are requested to apply using the link www.qiaf.net/master-class
The Participant giving the master classes will be honored during the award ceremony and be presented by an additional certificate. All registered participants are entitled to participate as an audience for the master classes.
The Last Date to apply for conducting master classes is 10th August 2023.
Artistic Fashion Show is the fashion related event of the QIAF Festival. The participants registered for the QIAF Festival can only apply to participate in the Artistic Fashion Show.
The decision to accept this application will be made by the QIAF Art Curators based on the Theme, uniqueness, Experience, creativity, and appearance to the participants. Thank you for your understanding.
There is NO additional Cost of participating in the Fashion Show.
Yes you can be a fashion designer, a product designer, or any creative idea to showcase your talent in the Artistic fashion Show. Here the participants can showcase their creativity and artworks on various other products like Apparels, curtains, tables, or any other daily life products.
It is the responsibility of the participant to arrange the model for the fashion Show to showcase their product. However we highly encourage the participate to walk to ramp and show case their products. The participants can request the other fellow participants also to walk the ramp on their behalf.

There is no additional cost for the QIAF 2023 registered participants to participate in the Artistic Fashion Show.

TRAVEL AND VISA INFORMATION
Qatar is the most visa friendly country in the Region. Presently the State of Qatar provided to Citizens of over 95 countries are eligible for Visa-free entry into the state of Qatar.

It is the responsibility of the participant to apply and receive the visit visa for travelling to Qatar. The organizers can provide for the Hotel confirmation vouchers only for the participants staying at the Hotel arranged by us.
Covid-19 pandemic is fast recovering all over the world. The Covid-19 situation is Qatar has recovered much better as compared to the world average.

For the participants traveling to Qatar to participate in the QIAF 2023 festival and staying with us at the Hotel, can fill in the form using the following link www.qiaf.net/travel-info
Organizers will NOT be providing Airport pickups and Airport Drop. However other local transports from Hotel to Event Venue will be provided by the organizers.
We are in discussion with some regional and international airlines to provide us with discount code for the participants travelling for the festival. We will communicate the details once we have the confirmation from them.
DURING THE FESTIVAL DAYS IN QATAR
The maximum size of the space that will be provided per participants will be 1m width x 2 m height.
Additional space can be booked by the participants at an extra cost. Please email to the organizers at email@example.com for additional space requirements. You should plan to exhibit the painting so that not more than 60% of the above space in filled.
The participants may make a sale arrangement of their artwork with the prospective buyer. It will be a direct deal between the artist and the buyer. The sale proceeds need to be directly collected by the artist. Organisers may help you with their advice, if requested.
All art works created by the participants during live painting at the festival will be displayed for public viewing and then handed over to the organizers. The organizers will at their sole discretion decide the best use of the same. However, it is the intention of the organizers to use the art works for some social cause and give back to the society as a contribution for some Nobel cause.
The Hotel will be a star hotel in the center of the Doha City. We will arrange all the transportation from Hotel to the festival site and return.
The check in and check out time for the Hotel is 14:00pm and 12:00 noon respectively. However subject to availability and policy of the Hotel, they may consider any special request for early check in or late check out.
Please co-ordinate directly with the Hotel Representative if you need early check in or late check out and they will try our best to accommodate the same.
The Detailed Program with the daily time schedule will be emailed to all the participants 15 days before the festival dates.
